HSEQ Manager – Permanent – East, UK – Competitive Salary

The HSEQ Manager will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of HSEQ are adhered to within the STS Department, whilst at the same time coordinating and overseeing the investigation of all Near Misses and Incidents. 
Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for policing and advising the STS team on marine HSE issues for the safe conduct of STS operations
• Responsible for leading and co-ordinating Incident / Near Miss Investigations process to close-out
• Produce in-depth events investigation reports, highlighting root causes and suggesting practical actions to prevent re-occurrence
• Review and analyze all STS events and HSE data to identify any emerging trends or potential problems including the compilation of month-end events and monthly HSE reports for presentation to the STS management team.

Experience / Qualifications Required:

• NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent (Desirable)
• Extensive HSE experience in a marine-related industry
• Excellent knowledge of OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001
• Lead Auditor Accredited (preferred)
• Deck officer on board merchant vessels or equivalent marine/oil and gas experience, preferably with an oil and gas company
• Strong knowledge of offshore oil & gas market and STS operations
• Excellent knowledge of Maritime legislation and familiarity of STS operations.
