Description
Kobe Maritime Museum is a museum in Kobe, Japan focusing on the history of Japanese shipping and Kobe harbor. One of the exhibits is the Yamato 1. The museum houses various advanced-technology watercraft exhibits that show not only the history of the international bay city of Kobe but also the construction and duties of ships, and ports. Kawasaki Good Times World can also be found nearby.

This corporate museum is operated by Kawasaki Heavy Industries, which has helped the city advance since the Port of Kobe first opened. With its characteristic white space frame roof giving the impression of sailboat racing across the vast ocean, the Kobe Maritime Museum offers a look at the international port city of Kobe.
